I received the Super Sniper 10x42 scope today from SWFA aka riflescopes.com. It came with a set of see through lense covers the one on the eye piece having a yellow tint. I will be mounting this scope on an AR-15 flat top style rifle. I took a series of measurements which I hope will be useful to others for ring and base options. The rail on my AR is 6" long as it is on all other milspec AR types. My goal is to have the back of the eye piece as far forward as possible, because I prefer to have my nose almost touching the charging handle when firing.
